Find an offline shelter presents a set of new creations at Galerie Joseph, results of a residency in Majorca during which Grip Face (Spain, 1982) and Miju Lee (South Corea, 1982) collaborated for the first time.

Fresh green trees and a clear blue sky, a warm breeze and a light herbal scent – Spring is in the air at Miju Lee’s and Grip Face’s„Offline Shelter“. They have spent the last 3 months together – in an atelier near Palma de Mallorca – to prepare their first exhibition in Paris.

Grip Face & Miju Lee Announce Paris Exhibition: Find an Offline Shelter
Find an offline shelter is the upcoming exhibition at Galerie Joseph in Paris this May. Supported by La BIBI gallery (Palma de Mallorca) and Colección SOLO (Madrid), it will showcase new pieces from artists Grip Face and Miju Lee created together during their collaborative residency in Majorca spanning over two months. This also marks the first time both artists have taken on a joint project and first time to see their works in Paris.

Spanish artist, David Oliver, known as Grip Face, and South Korean artist Miju Lee, known for exploring human emotion, have announced their first exhibition in Paris. Taking inspiration from science fiction, manga, and anime as well as the underground art of the 1990s in the United States, their worlds are a rush towards post-humanism with works that are inhabited by avatars, and take on themes of gender, identity, and digital anxiety.
