In 2023, LA BIBI + REUS established an artist residency program to further its commitment to supporting artists worldwide in the development of meaningful and thought-provoking projects.
The residency is housed in a restored former industrial warehouse — a lasting testament to Mallorca’s vanished 19th-century textile industry.
Just as artisan weavers once balanced fieldwork with time at their family looms, the LA BIBI + REUS Residency sits between urban and rural landscapes. It offers a peripheral view of Palma Bay and privileged sightlines toward the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The space is designed to cover all essential needs, with a kitchen, dedicated workspace, bathroom, storage solutions, and comfortable bedroom furnishings.
